  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

These videos should be hitting the membership area next week.

Next up we'll be tackleing all the menus on the camera, as well as our surprise for our members.. Thought it was to be this weekend, but looks like it will be next weekend for sure instead.

Also will be uploading another guest instructor video next week as well.

I have to tell you, even though I have worked with the EPIC quite a bit, if you have not gotten used to using buttons 1-4 on the side handle, you are cheating yourself from some real speed.

I always love doing the "Basics" because I can always find something I've missed that makes my work so much easier/better

Hi Jay,

I would love to sign up for your course, but my camera hasn't arrived yet. I expect it within 7-10 days, but it will likely lack a side handle, so I won't have that in hand to follow the tutorials. For that reason, I'd like to wait another week or so to sign up so that I have as much of the actual package in my hands as possible when I'm watching the videos and to maximize the length of time I have access to your downloads. But I don't want to miss the special offer on the accessories you mentioned, especially since I got a whiff of what one of them is from another thread. If I want to take advantage of that offer, do I have to sign up for your course now, or can I do it in another week or two and still qualify?

I must concur, I am much more interested in seeing the video content expand and less interested in additional purchsing opportunites, no matter how cool the products may be. The new videos coming out look promising though, thanks Jay!

We about to take on the menu system. This is going to be huge and the most complex section since we started. Should be hitting that later next week.

I had told you we'd average at least one new vid per week, we're blowing that away. But it goes in waves

You know what.. Screw it, we'll put one up today. Give me a couple hours.

The education is priority one, but the equipment is important also. I hope you agree.

There is an amazing amount coming.
 
By the way, none of you have been members for more than two weeks. I KNOW THIS cause today we're two weeks old! Your membership is three months long and we don't stop there. By the time you are done with your first quarter, you will have more material than the red101dvd. You're doing fine.

You do not have to choose between educational vids, and cool gear deals. I'm going to give you both.

Part One of the EPIC / SCARLET body overview is up... We're taking a look at every button, every port, everything! Part two will be going up next week.

Also doing the same for:

Touchscreen monitor

The idea is to build a familarity before launching into the menu system which will refer to these items again.

Also the overview on the Carbonite Scope will be up later this afternoon. This is not just some sales pitch.. We don't do that here.. It includes a full overview, installation instructions, and how to operate it.
