Alright, a while back it was brought up that a RED wiki would be very useful to the community. Many reasons were given for (and against) it. It is my hope that this resource be utilized and respected.

I'd like to announce the Grand opening of http://Red-Wiki.net

As of now, only the basic structure is set in place. It is an empty glass waiting to be filled with your RED knowledge. If you are interested in helping head up resourcing information, please e-mail me: joshuab86-at-gmail-dot-com.

Much thanks to Jarred and RED for allowing me to create this resource and for the help they offered when setting this up.

Hmmm.

Just been there. Not a lot there yet.

So I thought I would add a post-prod page for Adobe CS4.
But I can't.
So I tried to go to the Discussions page.
But I can't.

None of those options will be available unless you are registered and logged in. You can read all you want, but in order to contribute, you must registers.

I had registered, and logged in.

But I still can't add a page under post-prod.

Hi Antony, it sounds like it could just be a misunderstanding of the wiki system. To add a page, type the title of the page in the search bar. If the pagedoesnot exist it will ask you if you want to create it. To then add that page to the post production section, there is a one of text that you must add at the bottom of the page (check put other pages code to see what that code looks like).

I'll be doing my best to add info pages too.

LOL.
Yes, it was a misunderstanding.

It didn't occur to me that to add a page you have to search for it, despite knowing that it doesn't exist yet!!! What a strange concept!

Thanks for explaining.

Great idea Joshua, I really think this is going to be helpfull to everyone. Thanks a lot for the information, its great! Going right in my favourits folder :P

Don't forget, I can't do this myself. No Way. I'm trying to populate the site with general information and structure, but I need everyone to chip in, especially with the detailed stuff. If you see a word highlighted in RED, it means that someone though it would be nice to have more information about that word. If you know some info about that specific word/topic click on the word and start the article.

Just a heads up. We are having domain name resolving issues. Apparently the domain name expired (?!?!!?) and I have to pay $80 to get it back. No Thanks. Trying to work out other possible addresses.
