RED Weapon + RED Epic Dragon stolen in Los Angeles by ERIC BEASLEY

[Derrick Cohan]

Hi everyone, both myself and Evan Ziss had our RED cameras stolen over the weekend by Eric Beasley (ID below). He has posed as a legitimate cinematographer, rented and stolen (not returned) our equipment and potentially others too. I rented my equipment through Sharegrid, and Evan did it personally. I am attaching the info I have of this person in case anyone is aware of his location. Please contact me at contact@derrickcohan.com or 310-248-0525 if you have any info, thank you!

I told my wife to stop looking up my old girlfriends and find this asshole. He's doomed

Really sorry to hear that. My company is based in Boston. Let me know if there is anything I can do to help. You might want to call the rental houses around here and see if anyone has rented to him before. Rule, Redsky, and Talamas being the big three.

Hey Derrick, Sorry to hear about this. You should report this on ESTA Rental Guard as well. If any of the equipment is recovered then it might pop up there.

I work at Talamas and checked our system, he has never rented from us before. Safe to say that he won't be renting here in the future.

This is the best thing I've heard.

Sorry to hear about the camera being stolen man, I'll keep a look out for it. Did you contact ShareGrid they may be able to help you. Hopefully you have insurance covering theft through fraud.
