Recently had my images on a RedMag go AWOL due to poor post data management and so I attempted to use Red Undead to see if I could find any of the missing footage. What a time waster. Tried multiple attempts on multiple machines, reread the manual over and over and pulled a lot of hair out. Finally found the answer after multiple Google searches on a Red Support article that the Command line string had changed with the recent OS updates. Yesterday a friend rang me in a panic where a Redmag had been accidentally formatted and they could not get Red Undead to resurrect the data for exactly the same reason that the Red Undead Manual has not been updated for years. How many people have had to have this unnecessarily frustrating experience?
Red Undead is a great free service from Red but not updating the downloadable PDF Manual just goes to poisoning the experience making an already stressfull moment even more frustrating. Please Fix.
