The DSMC2® Touch 7.0" Ultra-Brite LCD (Direct Mount) is one of RED's displays that provide important camera parameters on the graphical user interface (GUI) and offer a variety of monitor viewing options. RED touchscreen displays enable you to use gestures to navigate menus and adjust camera parameters.
Experience a high-definition viewing experience for recording and viewing footage on your DSMC2 camera system, even in direct sunlight. A 1920 × 1200 resolution display panel provides 2200 nits of brightness to overcome viewing difficulties in bright outdoor environments. This RED display features 8-bit RGB, 4:4:4 progressive scan, providing up to 16.7 million colors and up to 70% NTSC color gamut (83% coverage for the DSMC2 Touch 7.0" Ultra-Brite LCD). Featuring a high pixel density (at 323 ppi) and 1200:1 contrast ratio also helps to deliver exceptional image quality. A robust, optically-bonded touchscreen with Gorilla Glass provides the most intuitive way to navigate menus, adjust camera parameters, and review your .R3D clips directly out of the camera.
The lightweight display mounts directly to the BRAIN® without the need for any tools or hardware. Convenient thumbscrews enable you to attach and remove the display on-the-fly. Featuring a hinge design that rotates nearly 360° and folds down to lay flat for easy transportation, as well as a 180° image rotation option - the DSMC2 Touch 7.0" Ultra-Brite LCD (Direct Mount) is one of the most ergonomic DSMC2 displays available.
