RED training UK

Hi Guys,

I'm just wondering, is there a RED user group of some sort doing something similar to REDucation within the UK? or say for the european side of the RED users since the offical one is only for L.A (America).

I've heard from people in my college that there is a course soon but wasn't sure how offical it was or how many people were attending etc. so wanted to know if anything was being done about training people promptly in the art of RED.

For courses in London you could talk to Four Corners Film (www.fourcornersfilm.co.uk). I led a three-day Red workshop there recently, which was the camera part of a larger workshop that also covered Red post-production. A total of 6 days I think, with a DCI projection of course material at the Barbican Centre at the end. I know that Four Corners and VET (who did postproduction) are planning to make this a regular event. If you want more details of what was covered in the camera workshop let me know.

There are also a number of one-day Red familiarisation courses in London, run by camera rental houses such as VMI and the Post Factory.
