Red Touch 9" pixelated menu?

Sorry if I waste anyone's time, but I've noticed since I got my RED 9", that its menu being output by my Epic -and same on my Scarlet- is quite pixelated, as if the menu is exactly the same amount of pixels as the 5" but being blown up onto a larger screen. Like everything's old school 8-bit. I know the screen is higher resolution than the menu, because detail in the image is sweet, but it just looks funny. Kinda lame actually.

I know that when I add peripherals to my camera the firmware updates it. Have I done something wrong? Is there a setting I was supposed to change to make my menu suit the resolution of the 9". Is there a new firmware being worked on that uses a correctly scaled menu? It's done it since I got it, and thought it would just change one day when I install a firmware down the track.

A fix is coming, just hasn't happened yet. That's my understanding.
