Red touch 7.0

I received the red touch 7.0 a couple days ago brand new from Red after a little over a month on back order. Today was the first time I was able to use it, only to find what is pictured below. Has anyone else seen this? I am on an Epic X Dragon, Firmware 6.0.37. only one behind current. I am going to update to that one now before i contact red. I tried 3 different cables, i have a non touch 7 that works perfect and a 9.0 touch that also works just fine.

I've been having major issues with mine. I updated firmware today and it seems to have solve this particular issue your having. On mine though I have these very faint vertical white lines everywhere.. Does yours also have these?

I had issues only due to the longer EVF cable.

The shorter ones worked flawlessly.

This was mentioned last year not sure if there was a firmware upgrade since.

I tried different length cables all with the same result. I updated to the new beta firmware and all seems to be running well now.
The vertical lines as present in mine as well. They are not strong enough to be distracting and remind me of some of the early generation touch screen technology from years ago

The vertical lines seem to be on all 7 inch.. I shoot 95% outdoors and find it too distracting. I find it uneceptable.. I'm chasing a refund, I'll stick with the 5 inch unfortunately

Mine has a color issue. It doesn't seem to differentiate between light temperatures.

We are also having huge problems with our 7". Sporadically powering up correctly. Most of the time we are getting a purple screen. When it does power up correctly it displays many of the other problems spoken about in this thread. We updated to the latest firmware with no luck. Very annoying.

I'd be interested to hear who "isn't" having issues with the 7 inch... Especially who doesn't have the tiny white horizontal line issue.. I think if you look closely they all do. Are they exceptable? Or is it me being too fussy? I've never spent $5k on a monitor before so I'm not too sure what to expect..
