hi,

pros and cons of these monitors, anyone? besides the touchscreen functionality. To be used on Scarlet.

thanks,
Kamilla

one is slightly larger, the other has touch screen...thats about it.

both are good choices, although I personally prefer using the 5" to navigate menus over the side handle or Redmote.
Its really a matter of personal preference though.

Does anyone know how well the touchscreen reproduces colors?

Mine says 'RED PRO' on the back in big silver letters so if it isn't bloody spot bollock I want my money back! :-)

I second that.

I like the way you can mount the 5.6" screen, but the option to navigate through the menus is a huge plus.

Actually this is a good point, the 5" Touchscreen is not mount friendly...I much prefer the simplicity of the original 5.6" LCD...but for menu navigation, its the best option.

Darn.

I never even thought about that. That's what I loved about the 5.6"...

Oh well.

I still mount my 5.0 inch touchscreen using a RED ARM, works, doesn´t look all that right, but it works.

I would definetly choose the thouchscreen, the easy of navigation makes you work fast and with great confidence!

How about the differences between the resolution, the 5.6" has 1024x600 while the 5.0" has 800x480 ?
