Just got my RED top handle extension.. when I twist the extension handle into the top handle, seems like you cannot tighten it all the way if you want to mount it/line up properly... there is a bit of wiggle there, is this common?

No, it shouldn't wiggle. You should be able to line it all up and bolt it down with rock solid performance. If my memory serves me I think the allen screw in the front part has something to do with the alignment.

It doesnt wiggle too much once I screw them in, but my point is I cannot twist the handle extensioin all the way into the top handle tightly otherwise the screw holes don't line up properly on the top mounts.

That was my finding too, but the handle portion on my extension doesn't twist when holding the camera or picking it up, due to tightening the allen (if memory serves correct). Tinker with it and you'll get it to work just fine.

Cheers,
Clint

Hand tighten all the way and you should be able to line it up with a less than a 1/4 or 1/2 turn. Lock it down and it should be golden!!! That method is pretty standard across us all.
