The FanPlate is basically a Top plate with 1/4 holes and a custom inserted fan that lower your camera heat and noise. You can ajust the speed of the fan with a knob.
It's IMHO more silent than the RED top fan for DSMC1.

The FanPlate does not contain the RED DSMC1 Fan. It has it's own fan. The FanPlate is mounted directly on top of the camera heat sink.
