Red Titanium PL on Weapon, Scarlet-W?

Is there any way to tell if my Red Titanium PL Mount needs to be modified for Weapon and Scarlet-W? I think I read somewhere that it is recommend to send in the PL mount (if you have one) along with the camera when doing an upgrade. But I'm buying a brand new Brain and have an older Titanium PL Mount.

Should work fine. They inspect the Ti PL mount with the upgrade but they didn't modify mine. Not sure what they're looking for

they just use your original pl mount to check the back spacing on the original camera.

Do they modify the old mount to give it captive screws?

somebody from Red, maybe Brent?.. said to send in the Ti PL mount with the trade-in camera because something needs to be done to make the old mount compatible with the weapon.. and you get the old mount back and there's no charge for the modification..

so I guess my question would be, if it gets modified, will it still work with the Epic body?

I believe it's just a back spacing check during the evaluation of the camera boy. When my weapon comes back with RED I can do some photo comparisons of the 2 mounts.
