I just want to drop a quick note, and say how much I love RED, and the entire community that's built up around it.
There is an air of ambition, and entrepreneurship, around everyone who owns a RED that I really admire.
All summer I've been prepping and shooting my first commercials, and the support I've been getting has been amazing.
I couldn't do this w/out RED.
I can't imagine I'd get all the friends coming out to help if I was shooting on 7D. But when they hear we are shooting skaters on an Epic and Scarlet, for an entire day (and as the sun set)...YEAH. People came down.
Same thing this weekend. We shot at one of my favorite burger joints in BK, all on Epic and Scarlet, and people came out....and we had a blast.
There is just an air of promise and possibility on set when you have a RED (as opposed to DSLR). People see the footage and GET IT. And wanna help you.
It's totally awesome.
Clearly this camera appeals to people who want to invest in themselves, and who want to grow and climb in this business. How can you not get behind that?
