RED + THE BERRICS REDIRECT Winners

[Jarred Land]

Last night we had the private award ceremony for our annual RED + THE BERRICS REDIRECT Skate Filmmaking Competition in Hollywood and I can't thank enough all the filmmakers and the skaters that entered.

Lots of great films and congratts to Russel Houghten who took home the first prize of a RED EPIC Collection with his film Urban Isolation.

I also want to give a special thanks to John Holland who shared with the world Tyler " Squints " Imel.

Tyler should be an inspiration to all... The guy loves what he does and it shows.

Maybe it is just because I love skateboarding or maybe because I love guys that live life through their passion but Squints is definitely my hero right now...

So thank you Tyler and thank you Jon for capturing him.

Russells' film is spreading around the world... Breaking half a million views between Vimeo and the Berrics already this morning.

Also everyone that attended the event needs to keep a close eye on their fingerboards... having lots of reports of sticky fingers There are no more left and we are not making any more so protect your deck.
