They are all about 2/3rds!

There are many of us that still would like the camera that was marketed to us for 3 years.. Is there any possibility of something like this happening with a potential partner company?

Red could leave it where it is, as is and let THEM iron out the kinks while you guys dominate the high end Red Cam market.. I'd assume with the Scarlet related thread views there's still a market to sell tens of thousands of Scarlet Fixed or non for that matter..

Is there ANY hope for SCARLET FIXED? It might not meet your personal standards but it's still a great idea and 2/3rds has some wonderful advantages over S35..

of course the two Mauians ; ) Maybe we can just get a couple of 1/3rd cams, let em spend the weekend at the Grand Wailea, and see what comes out 9 months later : )

You gonna watch "Thrive" at the MAC on the 11th? I think that was all 2/3rds stuffs..

SCARLET FIXED would be THE go-to doc cam... Not sure why RED would scrap her entirely.. I thought Red was all about the challenges.. I'll buy the cam with terms and conditions related to a lens that doesn't hold sharp focus throughout the zoom...

Or Sell, Sell, Sell it to another cam company.. At least to recoup years of R&D right?? or am I wrong?

Totally right! Why waste the $s invested? There's lots of parfocal cine lens tech that's been out for ages. Sure someone could make it work, and I was so up for the $7k solution. Hey, nice riding videos by the way. Udamon! Got one redhead too. Nice bush ;-)
