  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

RED STORE IN LA

I wont speak for red, but in my experience things that are generally available (i.e. not backordered) are available in the store. However, you will have to pay tax on the order, which will add about 10% to the order, whereas if you are outside CA, then you wouldnt pay the tax.
 
Yup, door just to the left of the main gate. Stock fluctuates but, yes, rule of thumb is if in stock on RED.com, it is in stock at RSH store...

By all means visit the RED store.
There are things there that you just dont get online as quick and there is still a wonderful feeling that you found something you weren't thinking of prior to walking in.
There is a glass display with lenses, accessories, parts and equipment that you can tangibly feel in your hands.
You can also see an EPIC and RED on display with lenses.
A computer with REDrocket working. RCX on so you can grade some fantastic footage most likely DINO was apart of.
And its at RED studios where you never know who youll run into. Sometimes you run into people that will help you solve all kinds of questions.

Brian and Jason are usually there and highly knowledgeable in any and all questions. Questions like
uhhhhh whens the scarlet come out or why is something backordered is not going to help you.

This magical place is at RED Studios in Hollywood.

I often scramble there to pick up a last minute cable, part or item and its a great feeling to walk out the store with cool stuff.

everything i cant find used i buy direct for the red store in Hollywood. Sean and Jason are very helpful. but don't come with any extra cash because you might leave with a hole in your pocket
 
Oh don't worry. I won't go in with any money! Oh wait, that doesn't work...
 
I was just here at the RED Store on Monday. Bought a RED Dragon t-shirt, played around with the cameras, hung out for a little bit. I didn't want to leave, but I'm afraid if I stayed I would have bought everything sitting in those shiny glass cases....
