RED Station & eSATA Cards

Hi,

I cant get my red station 1.8'' to show up on my mac book, any suggestions? Thanks

Eric

Make sure you have a power cord connected to the red station, it sometimes seems to need more power than what it can draw off the firewire or usb port alone.

Im kicking myself for this very same issue. Production picked up a Sonnet e4p for this movie, assuming it would be fine and totally forgot about the incompatibilites listed in the manual, and suggested on the forum. Im looking to get another 4 port e-sata card and actually turn this tower into a nice download machine, but im struggling to find a decently priced card that i can be sure supports hotswapping of REDMags. Without spending $800+ ... Im on a Mac Pro 3,1. Any suggestions?

EDIT: Lol 100th post
