Brian, I am like yourself, an 18 year old student studying cinematography and a follower of the REDUSER community. So to hear from you, one of the most respected 18 year old REDUSERS, especially with all of this negativity swirling around both young REDUSERs and "November 2011 and newer" REDUSERs, it's quite an honor. I've been a follower for a long time, but around when the Scarlet was announced, after seeing how awesomely it crushed the C300 (after being a loyal 7D owner since day one) I felt it was the appropriate time to sign up and start swimming with the big fish. RED provides the tools to advance in this industry. I must say, it's an absolute delight to drink the RED kool aid.

Finally - an official, 'I don't have a girlfriend' thread.

Tried to smell mine the day i received it (we still have some animal behaviors), nothing. I thought : it's a modular camera, so i have to choose the odor i want. Today it's "Terre d'Hermes", tomorrow it will be "humid jungle". Shooting there.
