[FS: RED Cameras] Red Scarlet X Package - Zero Hours - $9500.00

[Mike Kopstain]

Hi guys. We're in the business of buying/ selling pro equipment. We deal primarily with studios and individuals looking to sell their gear. In fact, last summer we sold a bunch of RED ONEs and accessories here. I say all that to say this:

Recently we were contacted by a local customer who bought his grandson a RED Scarlet Package. Shortly after getting the Scarlet he said he wanted a BlackMagic Ursa. Grandpa provided on that wish as well. Shortly after buying him the Ursa he nixed that for a 1DC. Grandpa really loves his grandson, what can I say. He's done well for himself and like people that have done well for themselves, he's trying to squeak every penny out of this gear that he can. Because of that, after an hour meeting with him we were unable to buy the gear off him at a price that would make it worthwhile for us to take on the liability of selling it and make money. I did tell him I would help him sell it though.

So here's the deal. This gear is all new. Zero hour stuff. He has receipts and he has boxes. The gear has been assembled and turned on for all of a few minutes. You literally will not find used gear newer than this. I have seen the gear and I'm happy to either a. put you in direct contact with him or b. broker the deal. You can check us out at monkeedeals.com or you can just view my previous posts to see what we've sold here.

Asking price for everything is $9500. Your $9500 will get you the following:

• Red Scarlet X Camera Body - Nikon Mount
• 48GB REDMAG
• Side SSD Module
• AC Power Supply (No Batteries or portable power)
• RED Touch 5" LCD
• LCD/ EVF Cable

For more details either respond to this, email us at Sales@monkeedeals.com, call us at 855-942-3456 or PM me here. I'd be happy to get you in touch with the customer even if we're not involved in the deal at all. On the other side of that coin, if you feel better having us broker the deal I'm happy to do that at no cost as well. Just keep in mind that if you're in California you'll either need to pay 9.25% sales tax, file an exemption form for a partial discount of sales tax or have the camera shipped out of state and deal with it on your own.

Bump, I've discussed his price with him regarding the new buyer having to pay RED to transfer ownership and how this isn't that much of a discount when you consider that expense and he's now agreed to sell the package for $8500.
