Sorry to say it, but color correction is a quite strange. Totally blown-out blacks and highlights make me thinking it was shot on DSLR, not RED at all.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pwzq5NEXSUA

Not sure if anyone's seen this yet but I just happened on this quick test on Vimeo.

Thanks a lot Ugo! This was basically my first 30 minutes with the camera! I'll be hopefully getting some more footage up soon. Just came off of a mini documentary shoot, was LOVING the ability to swap back and forth between ProRes and R3D to maximize data usage. ProRes makes sense for a lot of doc stuff and goes a lot further on the media.
So this gate flare problem persists

Had some more fun last night! Made another little film, this time shooting in R3D 4K + 5K. Nothing necessarily technical here, just finding more reasons to use this camera as much as I can! Thanks a lot Ugo! This was basically my first 30 minutes with the camera! Things looking really nice. Even 4k 120fps looks really clean. Did some 200FPS tests and was still impressed.
5k 48FPS RC9:1 with Canon 24mm-70mm f/2.8L Mark I.
