I got this camera one year ago so I can learn cinematography. My first impression was that I would connect the camera, and my footage would look like an Hollywood movie. I was so wrong. 1 year later, I still cannot produce an Hollywood like picture, but I am getting there. Long story shoot, it's all about the lighting, and not the camera.

"Hollywood like picture" is subjective. Keep up the work. Use your camera every day. Pick apart footage you watch and like. Experiment. Test test test. Keep in mind you will need help. It simply isn't possible always to get top tier results alone. There is a reason feature films have credits at the end of the film a football field long. The bonus is at least the camera is capable of producing amazing results!

That's true. Nothing beat out hand on experience. It took me sometime to realize the way my eyes see the world is completely different from the way the camera record the world. I will keep your advice and keep shooting until I can get my skills to a decent level. By the way, I used to live in Miami. North Miami Beach area. Learned English at Miami Dade College before transferring to the University. I visited your page and I like your works.
