Red Scarlet Monitor vertically flip image

Hello,

I am trying to flip the video vertically on the monitor Red 5" LCD Touchscreen, to adjust for an upside down position mounted on the top-plate for ergonomics. I am on the latest firware version 4.0.10 and I am trying to vertically flip the video. I click on the 'settings', 'Display' then 'monitor control' and 'flip video' and 'flip mirror UI' are clicked. It flips the video both vertically and horizonally, but I only want to flip the video vertically. It shows no option that just flips the image vertically. Has anyone tried this before? Any suggestions?

Red has stated that the remapping is more challenging than they thought. I think they will eventually figure it out.

Bob, that was said back in January. It is now June. The monitor flip feature is useless without mirroring and flipping. While I understand that all hands are likely on deck to push out Dragon, it is still disappointing that this small feature has not been tended to for actual people out there that own Scarlets and Epics already and are using them daily.

Still nothing here huh? Isnt it just a simple rotation? Putting the exact same image just...clockwise 180 Degrees?

Remember it is also all the touch and button coordinates for a 5inch resolution and a 9inch resolution. Image might be simple but all the touch would be the trickier part. That's why it isn't probably an easy thing.

Most third party monitors can do this. Or find someone with the red 7" monitor which can flip.

Been a while since the last response, but on my Scarlet 5" touch, it has the option to flip image and flip/mirror UI. The problem is that in order to get the UI the right direction it mirrors the image so now left is right and right is left. Is there a fix? Firmware 5.3x (5.3.35?)

Is there a fix? Not that I've seen on the 5". When I extensively read up on it last fall the consensus is that it's a hardward limitation, not just firmware. However, it seems you're able to do the image flip correctly on the larger monitors. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.
