Have anyone had this kind of trouble?

Last time I was shooting with the Scarlet, for some reason, on the monitor, all the exposure, compression displays are gone. Doesn't matter where I touch, I cannot bring the menu back.

It felt like the camera freezed on me or something....

It's been like that a couple of times after I left the camera on for a while. I had to restart the camera to bring everything back to normal.

Kenneth,

The bottom line is the Scarlet is a computer. I have ran into a few freezes, not many, but a few. In all instances these were while using the touch screen to set values or utilizing zoom 1:1. Since the newer firmwares and with using my sidehandle 95% of the time to set values I have not had a single crash.

So is normal to crash when you use the touch screen a lot?

What do you do when it crash? Is the epic like that as well?

It is possible for the camera to freeze, yes. Mine has a couple times. Reboot works just fine and thank goodness it's quick and not like the RED ONE used to be.

The only time mine has done it is when using 1:1 or when I get real touchy really quick on the 5.0 LCD.
