Red Rushes vs. FCP Log and Transfer

So essentially Log and Transfer and Red rushes are the same??

Have you done these two things:

Download Final Cut Studio Installer from the RED support page (needed for log and transfer capability)
Shift>Apple>8 opens log and transfer whereas Apple>8 opens log and capture

Make sure you're using shift>Apple>8

Red Rusher Prores 422 convert problem

Hi every one here,
i have a problem when using Red Rusher convert to Quick TIme Prores 422.
when i start convert it, it running and convert successful, but when i open the file, it is nothing inside and the file only 8kb in size.

Can any one please help to soft the problem?

Question:

Can I grade something in RedAlert and then log and transfer via FCP 7 with the Meta Data changes being read by FCP ?

It seems to me that FCP is resetting it to the original shot meta data.

Its sounds like your only making QT proxy files, which only reference the R3D files.
