Okay,
So I am having some problems with Red Rushes, I need to export 3 reels of r3d's to be edited in Avid. Ive just completed successfully 100GB of r3d's with mixed frame rates and resolutions. Now my last 3 reels don't work. All the clips say they are only 4 frames long and only render 1 frame then move on to the next with the percentage staying at 0%, I retried some of my already transcoded footage and it works fine. I also tried a later reel from a different project and it worked fine. Its sods law the last 3 reels I need on Monday don't work. Could they be corrupt?
I transcoded all the others with an older version of red rushes into DNxHD, now I just upgraded to see if it might solve the problem. Firstly there are more options for DNxHD, which doesn't matter as I also tested prores and h264 on the same clips and the same problem happened.
The footage in the reels is mainly 2K 113fps but there is also some 4K 25p.
Has anyone come across this?
I do have 3 other backups that I can access on Monday but was hoping to have all of it ready for the edit on Monday.
Any suggestions?
I checked all the r3d files in red alert and they definitely have more than 4 frames.
here is a screen grab from this oddity
