I have several doubts about what is it for, I hope you can help me to clarify this:

- Is it a graphic accelerator card or do i need to combine it with a graphic card such as an nvidia quadro fx 3800?

- It only works with Red Cine X or it also works for i.e. with adobe premiere, after effects and assimilate scratch accelerating the performance and allowing 4k realtime playback?

The hardware with the SDK allows any of the third part application to have real time 4K debayer (and this playback) of R3D files. You still need a graphics card for UI, but the card can output to 4K or HD-SDI for different HD video formats.
