Just a general question..
Has anyone tried using the RED ROCKET-X to mine Bitcoin?
If so at what capacity or Th/s did it run at?

Since the RED ROCKET-X is specific to working with R3D files, I find it highly unlikely it can be used for Bitcoin - besides, unless you plan on investing $10,000+ in some high end ASIC hardware (or ASIC cloud machines) it's not worth your time or power to mine Bitcoins now.....

Even if you could get the Rocket-X to do BitCoin hashing, doubtful, but even if you could it's not going to be that great. Rocket-X is powerful for what it does in the size of a single PCIe card. It's not cheap. For the same price as Rocket X I can assemble a quad-GPU PC that would undboubtedly run circles around it for BitCoin purposes. And yeah, a non issue since I think the Rocket-X is mostly built on dedicated ASIC hardware, so we're not dealing with a programmable GPU that can be extended to something like BitCoin mining. Rocket-X doesn't seem to be extendible to handle all of the R3D processing functions now available in RedCine-X or the SDK. ADD, DEB to name a couple.
