I recently sent my old RED Rocket (first generation) to RED because it failed in the middle of a job (transcoding) and paid to have them replace the card with a new card (it was diagnosed with the old "user installation error" I have seen floating around quite a bit). I received the new card (it took quite a bit longer than I would have liked even though I upgraded to priority overnight shipping).

I finally get the card and install it and it works like a charm - for a day. Now it won't output video at all (transcodes work fine... for now). All I get is a solid green frame on my Flanders monitor. No settings were changed between the two days (the machine was only turned off and then back on).

I contacted RED - they sent me to a workflow tech (level 2) that said he'd never seen it. Recommended flashing the firmware and reinstalling the driver (which I did - it was already on the latest of both but I reinstalled anyway). Still the green frame. I checked all of the output settings (I had it on YUV 422 10) - I tried each setting and turned PSF on and off on each just to make sure. I tried new cables. I tried 2 additional monitors. Nothing.

Any idea what could be happening? RED's recommendation is to RMA it... I just really don't want to be without the transcoding (that's working.... for now) for as long as it took to deal with this last time.

you're clicking the little "display out" button which is next to the rocket icon correct?
