Our company, Secret Headquarters, Inc., is part of a cooperative of small and medium post companies, called 'Digital Service Station.' We provide essentially a 'service bureau:' input and output for work-at-home editors, film makers, small production companies, etc., giving them access to digibeta, HDCam, HDCam SR, that sort of thing. We've just added a RED Rocket™ card into our Kona 3 bay (so far Culver City only) which you can use BY THE HOUR to render files for offline, finishing, etc. Since we've JUST set this up, and we're determining what the rate should be, for the next few weeks, we're simply including it in the room rental at the base rate. So, if you want to spend hours instead of days rendering footage, click on the 'Culver City' link on the DSS site and give us a call or email - RED Rocket™ by the hour!
Eventually, we also expect to be going straight from RR to SR, HDCam, DVCpro tape, etc. (For now, just waiting -patiently, I promise- for updates to the application, so we can play directly out of RR to tape- Scratch-Cine style. )
