Red rocket and magma

Hi any help would be appreciated got the magma express box 3t with esata and red rocket I was at red Europe today and we put the latest firmware on my rocket but it is like the magma box won't see the red rocket there is nothing wrong with the rocket if you put it in a tower it's fine I'm using the Mac Pro retina any tips thanks

Is the box getting power/passing it to the RedRocket OK? The fans in the enclosure should spin up and the red LEDs on the red rocket board should light up if so.

Hi yes fan spinning on red card and lights are on but no fan is spinning on the magma case ??

Have you tired a different thunderbolt cable, I know with the sonnet echo if the thunderbolt cable is not connected it will not power up the enclosure... Just a thought.

Thanks will try a new cable but I am running the magma of the main power socket maybe its the mac book pro ?

What slot are you running the card in, are you rebooting after plugging chasis into your system?

Have you tired a different thunderbolt cable, I know with the sonnet echo if the thunderbolt cable is not connected it will not power up the enclosure... Just a thought.

These cables can go pretty easily, I'd certainly try Rudy's suggestion first and foremost.

I will have a look which slot the card is in and will try a new cable and report back thanks guys
