Red Rocket and MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Mid 2014)

Hello,

I'm planing to buy a used Red Rocket with the mLink r thunderbolt chassis tomorrow but I read that
there are some playback and slow data transfer problems with the new MAC PRO.
Are Macbook Pro affected too?

NOTE: You may experience interrupted audio playback or slow data transfer rates over Ethernet and Thunderbolt when using the REDROCKET with newer Apple® Mac Pro® models (Late 2013 or later). These issues are not present on earlier models of the Mac Pro.

Can someone please let me know if there are any problems with the REDROCKET and 2014 Macbook Pro running yosemite!
I'm buying the RedRocket with the mLink r thunderbolt chassis today!
