  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Red record dot only on SDI and LCD2 output

In order to see the record indicator on a monitor its mode must be set to "Overlay" and the overlay selected must have the record indicator on it (all the default overlays other than "None" have the record indicator on them).

These settings are in: Menu > Settings > Display > Monitor Control

Sorry to hijack the post. But sort of on the same subject.....
Im not seeing any red dot when using 2K settings at high speed. The time code in the lower right corner goes yellow and the camera records and everything works but no red dot in the upper right corner to let you know your rolling.
Anyone else?

The timecode doesn't go red? I have not seen this before. Please file a support ticket and send in a log so we can take a look.

I am saying that this is the case when I want only the rec indicator.

It's still not clear to me what you are seeing and what you want to see.

I think you are seeing the record indicator, timecode, and clip name on the overlay, but you only want to see the record indicator. If that is the case you can try setting your monitors to the "Guides (RED)" overlay. The "Guides (RED)" overlay includes the record indicator, frame guides, raw indicator and magnify indicator. You can further customize what you see by creating your own custom overlay (or cloning and modifying an existing one).

If I haven't understood you correctly please post a picture of what you are seeing and describe what you think is wrong or what you want to see instead.
