Red Raven on Freefly Alta drone

[Matt Beardsley]

I've had a couple weeks flying the Raven. It's working really well as an aerial camera. Here's both some footage and BTS material from a test. Edited & graded, but looking good. Ground footage was shot on my Scarlet-W, BTS aerials shot on the DJI Mavic.

Sweeeet!

I still have a hard time committing to hanging a RED from anything higher than a tripod.... Considering how long it would take to get a replacement if something went wrong.

Sweet! Hey, why would they give it a bird name it wasn't' supposed to fly? Its a great camera to fly.

Yeah, I love the footage from the Alta / Raven combo... not to say it's not a good feeling to touch down again
