Hello Red world,

I pre ordered a Red Raven V lock Base Package through Abel Cine, NY in March. Does anyone know if the packages will come with DSCM2 cases? Red.com shows that it does come with a case now but didn't used too. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks team,

oh nice, yours shipped and you received it already? wow, did you get allocated last week too?

Picked it up at RED hollywood, I'm quite busy with some personal stuff for a bit so not sure how soon I can post footage.

It would be shame to have this guy just sit here..I'll probably post it up for rent for a bit..

As you can see by the SN, there are quite a few in existence.

While I do believe there are tons of Ravens currently out in the wild, it is important to note that RED has stated on multiple occasions that cameras are no longer released in numeric serial order like they were with the original models. If I remember correctly, the person building the camera just grabs one from a pile and that becomes the serial number for the camera. And the logic behind that is, RED is trying to maintain secrecy around how many cameras they actually sell because they don't want rival companies getting a bead on their economics.
