I'm thrilled with the build quality and design of all my purchased RED products (even your shiny boxes). If you would consider making a reasonably priced RED follow focus with wireless system you'd have me as your first customer!?? Could you make it so my iPad could drive the FF and display a video feed for the operator too?

I imagine that after Red has released their RedMote Pro to control Canon, Nikon and Red electronic lenses, they could very well add motors on as well so that RedMote Pro could control manual lenses?

I still find it surprising when people want RED to make accessories that are already available on the market. If the last three years have taught us anything, it's that RED accessories rarely live up to the groundbreaking quality of their cameras. Here are a list of accessories that are regularly replaced by better third party products:

1. RED Shoulder Dovetail and Bottom Plate
2. Mini-BNC Adapter cables
3. EVF Mount (aka Noga Arm)
4. RED Drive Cradle
5. RED Battery Plate
6. RED Battery Chargers
7. RED 18-50mm Zoom

And here are a list of accessories that have been on perpetual back-order or have never been released at all:

1. RED Drives
2. RED Drive Cables
3. RED EVF's (Original and now Bomb)
4. Solid State Drives
5. RED Anamorphic Lenses
6. RED Ray

I know that RED is definitely getting better on quality (RPP's, 17-50mm, and Clutch seem to be a hit), and Jim has stated that they are revamping their production lines, so maybe they will dominate the camera accessory market in five years. But right now it feels like RED has their hands full just trying to produce camera bodies, and requests for accessories would be better directed at third party companies like Element Technica.

Just my thought.

Sorry David. I apologize if that came off as a lecture towards you. Just something I've been thinking about for a while as I too try and decide how to accessorize my future Epic.

Julio.. thanks for the list... i feel that it may of been directed more towards us then David heh heh heh. You need to remember.. everything in that list was the very first of each product we EVER made.....
