IMO, the RPPs have a far worse reputation than they deserve. How else is under $1,500/lens, with case, for a T1.9 PL set with cine style mechanics explained...?

Sure, they're big, heavy and only cover S35. They're also fast with decent contrast WFO. Extrapolating from older tests, the RPPs at a healthy stop (T2.8 - T8) should theoretically out resolve the Helium with STD OLPF, let alone Dragon/MX. (Yes, Virginia, this is merely an experienced opinion drawn from available data, not empirical peer reviewed testing.)

Sidebar - Sure, they're not Leica-Cs, MP's, etc - but what a great set to use for an indie project, or as a starter prime set for an owner/op with a Helium or shooting Dragon 5 or 6K or MX... The first couple decades of my operating career was 99% on zooms, and I missed the kind of DoF control and formal composition of shooting stills with primes. In the fall of 2007 I bought a mini set of T1.3 Mk2 Zeiss SuperSpeeds (25,50,85mm), put them on my RedOne and fell in love. Had to sell the Speeds, got RPPs when they came out. Shot a feature with the 6 lens RPP set, which gave me a chance to shoot narrative masters on a 35 instead of a 25 and the ability to shoot T1.9 on an 18 in tight spaces with limited lighting!

Anyway, hope the seller doesn't mind my musings on his thread. Suffice it to say that I would consider anything under $10K for a 6 hole RPP set to be a great value. YMMV.

Cheers - #19
