Hi!

I'm trying to use the RED PRO 7" LCD on the EPIC, and while it works, it exhibits strong solarization.
It does show an image but it's not a nice one... not smooth at all. I like the extra pixels but the image looks way nicer in the smaller 5" Touch Screen.

Anyone else tried this combination? How are your results?
Maybe I'm doing something wrong, as I think the 7" PRO LCD is listed as one of the RED accessories which should work just fine with the EPIC.

If this is a problem for everyone, is RED looking to fix it with a future build?
Thanks!
George

Anybody?

I guess several EPIC owners have tried the PRO 7" LCD on their new cameras?...

Thanks!

I have 3 Epics, M's & X - All have the same problem with the 7 inche...

Im hoping the new 9"inche does not band,

I also hope firmware will fix it .

It's strange that some people get banding on their 7 inch PRO LCD and some don't.

Yeah, terrible banding on my Red Pro 7" on the Epic as well.

And not only that, but switching to 1:1 mode a couple of times results in the image being split in two, and the right side of the image being moved to the left side of the image. I can snap a photo of this phenomenon if the description is too incoherent.

I'm hopeful it may be a firmware version issue similar to the old EVF working/not working with Epic.

My 7" LCD is only displaying a pure white image with the Epic-M, My touch 5" LCD works fine, swapped cables and everything. Could this be a firmware issue? or Hardware?
