I'm trying to figure out what pin Lemo does the RED uses? 2,3,4, 7 pin lemo contact? Is there a spec sheet of the what the pins does? I'm trying to make a cable to work with my rig. Thank you.

The pin out is in the operations manual I believe. It is a 6 pin lemo. They have stated that they are changing the connectors on the new cameras, to yet a new non standard lemo. Be advised that both the positve and the ground need to run to 2 separate pins EACH or you will cook the power board.

Are they changing them again? What is wrong with these guys? Why in God's name do they think it will make it any easier? Well, I was referring to the present model but did not have any ideas they were changing the connector on their newer model. Oh well.

I'm just wondering because I want to get the pins right. So if there is a specs that state which plus and minus goes to which pin I would be very grateful.

Here it is, if you can't read it, go to red-support-operations manual. Yeah, I was hoping they were going to switch to 4 pin xlr for the new cameras..........

Are you absolutely sure about that? I'm pretty sure I heard somewhere that we'll be able to use all existing power options for the Epics (not sure about Scarlet).

My guess is that the new one is on the far right. A 4 pin male socket:

"Again" assumes we have changed these one or more times already. We haven't.

The data you want is in the Operations Manual, for power in and power out.

The new cameras can't use a 4-pin XLR for power in as that is too big to fit the body.
