Are there any video tutorials online about the cineform+premiere+after effects workflow?

Natively as Avi or Mov files, so yes native in that sense.

If you are using the RED then having a sound post production workflow is paramount. If you use Premiere Pro and CineForm you will get an amazing performance boost and a RED workflow that works right now.

Give the P4K demo a try... it blows the shit out any other workflow for PPRO right now :gun:

So do I have to transcode RED R3D to CineForm right away to start editing or it is possible to have real time 1/2 rws (2K) editing right from the start and than at the end you do transcode?

I have been a Cineform user since a few months before NAB 2008. I did a demo of the Cineform workflow at the 3ware booth to showcase their Sidecar product.

Because of that demo, I became a believer.

I am using Cineform on a feature with a budget of about 5 million. It is being produced and directed by industry veterans whose work is well known.

I will be blogging about the workflow and the technology we're using. That will begin in approximately 1-2 weeks, give or take a week.

I am making full use of the 1k Express proxy feature of Cineform. The entire movie will be cut in 1k, and then re-attached to Cineform 4k RAW files toward the end, when the picture is close to lock.

The planned color correction software is Iridas, because they integrate so well with the Cineform files.

Those are all the details I am at liberty to release at this time. I will start a thread on Reduser that will correspond to my blog. I will discuss the entire workflow in great detail at that time, including naming conventions, folder structure ect.
