I wonder what goes through people's minds at Sony, Arri, Panasonic, JVC and alike? Do you ever fear for your safety, does Jim? Besides the technicial and societal consequences of the "magic pixies" in the REDRAY codec, companies and Studios who profit from Hardware, software and "content" must be having heart attacks.

The future of content is changing faster than anyone would have expected.

10bit going to the projector, yes.

Actually the "trick" is a little one only: REDRAY codec works for sure, but the "how it works" speculation is not something I'm going to talk about, other than my usual stock answer of magic pixies. This time we worked them hard, and they seem to have come up with the goods again.
