[WANT TO RENT] Red package, 3 week indie feature, Canadian East Coast

[Adam Penney]

I'm looking to rent a Red camera package (Dragon or Weapon preferably) for a low budget indie feature shooting for 3 weeks in October. I received quotes from the major rental houses in Toronto (SIM etc) but the cost was a little (a lot) more than we want to spend. The feature is being shot on the east coast of Canada, but we are looking to rent out of Toronto, as our producers are based there and can inspect the gear and meet the renter etc.

We haven't decided on lenses yet, though we are looking at Cooke and Leica. We may however end up using the Canon CN-E cine lenses as we can source them locally. So, either a PL or EF mount depending on what we decide.

As for kit requirements. I would prefer a 15mm lightweight rod/baseplate setup over a 19mm studio and the smaller the camera build the better, as we plan to fly it on a Ronin a few times.

Thanks in advance.

Hey Adam -- We can put together a Weapon + Leica Summicron-C package for you. You can build a gear list on website: http://3gr.la/quote. And shoot me an email: adam@3gr.la. Thanks!

Give us a ring at CineGround. We are based in Montreal, so we can definitely make the entire process easier.

We also carry the Summicron-C series along with Cookes and a bunch of other series.
