Hello All Toronto and GTA Red One, Scarlet, and Epic Owners,

I'd like to invite you all to attend "Meet-up" that I am hosting to meet all of you and to simply chat about what we do and the toys we use!

Here is a list of Agenda topics:

- Talk about what you do (career, hobby, productions etc).
- What you own (from all the accessories to your weapon of editing choice)
- Items for sale (a chance for all of us to buy stuff from you that you no longer use...with people that would most likely buy them)
- Best Practises (with Redcine X, FCP, Avid, CS6, shoulder mounts, steadi-cam, bags, and all things video)

We don't hold these 'meet-ups' often (in fact I can't remember when the last meeting of this sort took place - so please make an effort to make join us.

Our aim is to meet each other and learn from each other (not to debate each other's services or critique and criticize).

DATE: Nov 6, 2012
TIME: 8:00pm - 10:00pm (not necessarily the cut off time but perhaps going to a pub afterwards makes more sense).
LOCATION: Downtown Toronto (Queen and University) - I will probably hold the event at my Condo's Meeting Room (as we have expensive toys to show and tell). - Will send the location when you RSVP. There is SECURITY and CAMERAS for the parking and condo.
UPDATED: My condo is at 168 Simcoe Street

PARKING: There is free visitor's parking at my condo (first come first serve).
TTC: I am a block from Osgoode Station
Coffee and Donuts will be provided.

WHAT TO BRING:
Whatever you want. Bring your Rig and show us what your's does. Bring things to sell or looking to buy. Bring nothing but yourself and have a donut on us. Just come with stories and incite to your RED experience.

For more information or to RSVP, please send me an email at: wilwong@movme.ca
Any questions, feel free to post or call: 416-788-2835

Again, please come. I hate eating donuts alone! :yesnod:

Wil

haha
if you get few more, I would love to join the party, I sugest perhaps some bar or restuarant would make it more tempting...:)
Cheers

Hi Albert,

Yes I thought about a bar and more then happy to move there too. I just figured if anyone was bringing their rigs, it might be safer to park at my condo with full security and cameras and chat with some 'show and tell'. Figured it might be safer but then again, folks might prefer beers over toys...ha, ha.

I have a few folks coming and truly hope you can join. I'll send you a PM. The invite is open to everyone if you know of other owners or heavy users. Please spread the word.

I'm gonna try to make it. Everyone bring their post-tips/tricks because that's what I love seeing/learning (the fruits of your endless hours experimenting!)

Awesome! I know there are a lot of quiet owners out there that don't post. Please join us. I'll send you my address when you post. :emote_popcorn:

Hi All,

Only a few days before the Toronto Red User Meet-up. Please RSVP if you haven't. Definitely a lot to talk about :-)

I'm going to edit and include the address in the first post but still RSVP so we know how many donuts I need to avoid eating...ha, ha. We may head to a bar once we meet.

LOCATION: 168 Simcoe Street (Queen and University) Downtown Toronto - MUST RSVP (PM or post here)

Ha, ha Bob.... I'm waiting for Red to announce an upgrade program! Everyone keeps asking them.

Hey Wil - I had my dates wrong… I'm shooting here in the studio on Tuesday, so I doubt I'll make it down.

Hi Glen, Thanks for the update. If things change please join us. I'll try organizing another meet-up perhaps in April.

Hi Jesse, Definitely join us. See you there.
