I would like to see,
Please be able to post Redone+Nikon footage or pictures?

Thank you

Old Nikon AIS lenses (especially the 50 and 85) look amazing on the RED. We shot our first feature almost exclusively using them.

You'll love the look.

We bought our Nikons from ebay, too. If you´re not in a hurry you will be able to collect an excellent set for a reasonable price, not as cheap as a couple of years ago but still OK. The look of these lenses is very organic, not as clean and crisp as modern glass but they have character. They do color match very well and tend to flare quite easy, very nice indeed. If you like more contrast set your mattebox up properly. The older AI (non s) have a longer focus throw which makes them easier to use with FF. A lot of lenses have a 52mm filter thread, we have step-up rings from every diameter to 77mm on that we use an original metal Nikon sunshade so they all end up with the same outer front dimension which makes it easy to connect them to the donut/mattebox. Like Stephen said they can be perfect for a feature (we collected them for a feature as well) but they won´t be all purpose glass. HTH.

Cheers, Ulf
