I purchased the standard (non-RED) 150wh batteries from Hired Gun video after hearing many people able to use the standard batteries successfully. It just won't transmit battery info to the RED. After charging my batteries (it's been a couple days since, but they received a full charge), I attempted to power the red unsuccessfully. It will power fine of AC.

I found this thread with Scarlets...

It seems it may be transmitting a 0% signal. Is anyone else experiencing any issues with this combo?

By the way, I have not contacted Al on this yet, just found out. Al has been extremely friendly and helpful in fielding my questions, and seems like a stand up guy.

I use swit batteries and they also don't transmit the power information for the RED ONE, on the LCD I see AC. For me to know the power left I have to press a button and some leds will show the remaining power. Also have an origo trigger thats shows remaning power...

My issue is that I can't even power the camera up with a fully charged battery. The RED manual pinout shows pins 5&6 being for battery clock and data information. I just don't have a meter anymore to see where those pins go on my battery plate. RED manual also shows that it wants the the positive and negative in pairs (total of 4).

I would also like to hear from others who have done this.
