Red one SSD. red drive issue

I have had a Red One MX for a few years now, it came with the SSD module installed.
But the HDD Drive never worked, been curious why that is, is it possible that the installation of the RedMag module makes the HDD drive not function (or be recognized) anymore?
I realise it might be a stupid question but wanted to rule it out.

I have the SSD module attached and my camera can also record to my Red Drive, if that answers your question.

The drive might be fixable. I can't guarentee it can be fixed, but if you are willing to ship it to me I can test, diagnose, and attempt to fix it. I have a passion for these cameras and would like to continue see them being used.

Thanks for the replies, but it's not the drive itself that is at fault, it is the camera.

Sorry to hear that Enda. Does the camera boot? If so, do the HDMI and XLR ports work?
