Hey guys

I looked all over REDUSER to see if they answered my question to no avail

I wanted to know at what compression ratios could i record all framerates and frame sizes

I.E

2k 120fps REDCode 42 on the 256 1.8"mag

Just trying to see if its worth the upgrade over the hard drives and CF cards

Yea i took a look on there

Its not so much the record times that im looking at its more the compression ratio .

Pretty much just want to know can i max out the compression at any and all frame rates using the ssd's

Ah, gotcha. okay, you can check on page 47 of Red One manual, although SSDs won't be listed. I'd have to confirm that that the max framerates for any given resolution and compression setting match what's listed for the Red-RAM drive.

I thought I recall soneone posting a spreadsheet of what was available for the SSDs on Red One but maybe I'm imagining that.

What settings on the Red one gives you that Hollywood film look. Is it the film setting or pulling back the color settings.

I think that setting is in the LOOKS menu/good lighting and composition. I think that's on page 124 of the manual. :)

And here I thought it was on page 862 of the RED One addendum.
