  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Red One Porn +Spielberg?

The little I know Rado - I can imagine him putting Scarlet in the "full-auto" mode in 120 FPS straight to 256 GB HDD on a tripod, while he gets much closer to the "subject/s"... That way he gets the best of both worlds - and great slow-motion shots too...

Seriously, look at the adult films of Andrew Blake. There's some really nice 35mm photography in those works.
It's not about resolution, but that classy look you can get. The adult market is full of crappy cheap amateur stuff. The impact Red will have in this area will be huge! And as always, porn will contribute a lot to the technology market, business-wise.
And I'm pretty sure something similar might happen to 3D btw.

Wasn't that porn that started the Internet? Well, maybe not started, but made it what it is today.

I am also hearing that porn revenue is much, much bigger than Hollywood.

I think I am wasting my time filming fish

... "Well if this doesn't work at all, I can still shoot porn movies..."

Hence Plan B.

Wonder for how many days you are able to do it. I have strong feeling that its not so enjoyable on a set as it may looks

:red_bandana: Very manly male! :gun:

But really, I bet half of the indie filmmakers thought at one point: "Well if this doesn't work at all, I can still shoot porn movies..."

Hence Plan B.

Quite a lot of DV jocks who fancy themselves as indie filmmakers have been shooting porn for ages.

It's difficult to do it. Those guys at the adult film studios deserve some more respect. It's not a second option, it's actually a very profitable specialization.

I wonder how the model of higher prod. value over low cost productions can survive, after the plunge it took during the VHS era.

Pawel, good compromise will be to film Mermaids.
They come half naked anyway.
