Just out of curiosity I wanted to see what people were planning to do.
Basically you can see the excellent specs of the Epic by clicking on the banner on the front page of Red.com.
It will be around $40K (that's been confirmed ad naseum). And Red One owners will be able to trade up for the full $17,500 credit.
Red One is definitely not being abandoned. That's been dealt with in other threads. And people are reporting that a sensor upgrade is coming soon after the Epic is released. Jim has even said that things learned while developing the Epic will only make the Red One better.
Note: I put the option in there for those only getting the Scarlet, and not for people getting a scarlet in addition to a Red One or Epic, because I assume if you can spring for a Red One or an Epic you can probably get the Scarlet if you want it.
