Red One Mysterium X upgrade makes Gizmodo

Just thought I'd tell you guys that I was readding the Gizmodo RSS feed and one of the featured stories is the Red One-MX upgrade coming. Don't have the link, just thought it was cool

Gizmodo talks about the update being available in around 2 weeks (22nd of Jan).

did I completely miss all the fuss and the official announcements or do they know something we don't ? When I contacted RED support about the X update a few weeks ago they said they would send out emails to all R1 users in time to let people know about the upgrade options. so far I haven't received anything.
