Thai, how do you like the Leitax Canon mount on the RedOne. I've been considering picking one of these up. It's a newer version now, but wondering what your experience has been like n terms of infinity focus, how well the collimation ring works, etc.
 
Hi Steve, I have been using this Leitax mount since end of 2012 (when I bought the R1) with great success. You can swap this mount and PL within 5 minutes and vice versa. Infinity, collamination ring no problem.
Good thing also you can rotate the mount so when work with AC you can set the lens markings as you wish. If you only work with manual iris lenses this is the cheapest and best solution.

Damn that's a low price, sending this out to a couple of camera ops and indie directors I know.
 
You are damn right. I am a bit surprised there is so little interest. The R1 Mx still delivers beautiful image.
If my work hasnt shifted to aerials I would never sell - well not for this price.
